Get a little education
while having fun at the fest!
All seminars are held in meeting rooms across the hall from the festival.
Make sure to get stamped so you can get back in the fest afterwards.
In most cases, beverages will be served at the seminars. You cannot bring
beverages into the seminar room. Seminars run approximately 45-55 minutes.
Friday
2 p.m. – How To Hand-Dip Chocolates, Melissa Berry, Missionary Chocolates
Learn how to make and hand-dip your own chocolates, and taste samples from
each step in the process! Missionary Chocolates is a small, local and
sustainable chocolatier who will have you saying, “I can’t believe these are
vegan!”
4 p.m. – Chocolate and Beer, a pairing with Jeff Shepherd of Lillie Belle
Farms Chocolates
Jeff Shepherd’s passion for chocolate has been lauded in such media as
Sunset Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, MSN.com and the CBS Early Show. We
are delighted to have him conduct a very special presentation on the joys of
pairing beer with chocolate. Prepare to be swept away into another
dimension!
6 p.m. – Cheese Smackdown!
Round III of our popular Cheese Smackdown pits beer and wine from the
festival paired with three cheeses from the Tour de Cheese. And you get to
try each pairing, then vote on which pairings win! |

paired with three chocolates from the festival. And you get to try each
pairing, then vote on which pairings win!

Lillie Belle Farms Chocolates
